My husband and I attended a hearing in Baton Rouge concerning our property in Bossier and Samson Contour. The lawyer and geologist stated to the commission that Samson requested to permitted by June 15th in order to begin drilling by August. My husband asked if Samson was going to drill a horizontal well to the Hayneville zone and the lawyer stated that was his understanding.
We have been told by some of the property owners in our section that Samson has contacted them about putting a pond on their property. It will be interesting to see if they drill or not!
