Section 1, Township 17,n15 West Shreveport 100 acres for lease

Our HOA has around 100 acres in west Shreveport that we want to lease. We may join a group or lease to a landman at the right price. Does anyone have an intrest or a group for us to join in with?

Contact Attorney Burt Bowers 636-1400. He is putting together a second group. He did T18R15W sec. 35 (Risinger dr. & Moss Point) $15K 25%

I heard they are going to be drilling in section 12 soon, which is just under section one in 17n 15w. That was from someone who lives next to someone who works with the drilling rigs. I haven't seen any evidence of permitting or unit formations though. No one has sent me any notices either. They would do that wouldn't they?

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
