? Questions about PetroHawk's wells behind Curtis Elementary School?

PetroHawk's rig behind Curtis Elementary School in no longer there. I thought when they finished drilling it they would move the rig to the next Section over. The lease calls for both wells to be spudded by December 31, 2009.

#239822, The Grayson 25, for Section 24, 17N, 13 West.

#239789, The Grayson 24, for Section 25, 17N, 13 West.

Does anyone have any information about these wells?

#239822 says that the Measured depth is 16797 and the True vertical depth is 11842.

16797 - 11842 = 4955 feet (just 325' short of a section line).

I thought the maximum frac lenght for one section was (5280 - 660 feet) 4620 feet.

Is this unit larger than 640 acres?

What am I missing?
Will they just start the frac further along the horizonal leg of the well?

Do I have the numbers correct?
The main question is ARE THEY IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING THE RIG TO ##239789.
It is my understanding that they intend to get both wells drilled and frac during the christmas break.
The surface well is in the next section. This could explain it. You might only have 4620 or less perforated section of the lateral. You can also get more than 4620 if the well doesn't run parallel to the section line, but this one looks pretty close to N/S.
Parker, we had a big discusion about this several weeks ago when the drilling started. HK has permitted two wells. Sam Grayson owns land in both adjoining sections. Each well will have a surface location in the adjacent section, drilled into the other section. If you look at the well plats you will see what I am talking about.

See if this helps, I color coded the wells.
Baron,

Yes. I understand. But my main question was what happened to the rig.

It is back up.

I thought some of them could "walk" short distances.

Have they been drilling long enough to have completed the first well and are now drilling the second one.
Parker: Am almost certain the rig was up this morning coming to work and know for sure that it was at noon. Not sure what is happeneing - I have been told it is a new, highly addvanced rig and it may be one they can "scoot" over. Doesn't seem like it has been on the site long enough to have completed the horizontal.
I saw it today too.

I thought it could "scoot" or "walk" too. That is why I was so surprised when I didn't see it yesterday.
