Looks like Rapides Parish GHS has been quiet for awhile. I received an offer for a surface lease with the purpose of the development of a wind generation site this past December. It is for a 40 year term with a 10-year option to extend. That is too long for me to consider, but I was just wondering if anyone else had received such an offer in Rapides Parish. I've never heard of anyone in this area receiving such an offer.

David, I got a notice email so that function works for me on the group page. I look forward to seeing if others got one and will reply.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
