Hello girls and gals.Since I am stupid enough to be going in to town this close to Christmas, I was just wondering if I could pick up anything for you guys so everybody doesnt have to be treated as poorly as us last minute shoppers.
There is limited space available in my trunk so you need to be really convincing as to why your stuff should be picked up instead of somebody elses like Jim the "Benton Brawlers ", S.S.P., or any of the many other fine shalers on this site.If it is an ingredient, let me know what dish its going in because we all know thats the way to a mans heart.
If its an item for someone special, let me know why that person is so special.
This may be some of you clowns last chance to make the "List", so you better watch out. (Pun intended)

P.S. Hey KB rsp,
You never cease to amaze me and remind me all at the same time why I swoon over you the way I do!
I really dig a Chick that hates the Mall. (LOL) :-)

now just where is morgan & lindseys...only place i saw one is Dallas?
Must have been tuff growing up in the sticks.
I had the best of both worlds. My dad made me into an electrician at about 8 years old. I would rewire table lamps and floor lamps, this was in 1958. I would make about a dollar a lamp but it didn't take me but about 15 to 30 minutes to do the job. I didn't have to bumb money off the old man and to him, I was learning a trade. One of my dads best friends had about 11,000 acres that was an old plantation on the Red River. You could hunt what you wanted, my choice was limb rats and hogs. It had all kinds of things to explore from the 1800s. A blacksmith shop, cotton gin and gris mill would be some of my hang outs. Had a young apalousa gilding to ride whenever I wanted to saddle him up. Those were the days.
Hey KB,
For future reference........Always unplug anything you are trying to re-wire.(LOL)
Hey Gosh Darn,
Where you been?
is anyone (besides me) old enough to remember Silver's Dime Store on the corner of Texas St. & ?? it became an H L Green years later....That was close to the old Washington Youree Hotel. Now that was my favorite.
As a youngster, one of my favorite toy stores was TG&Y. Parents told me it stood for Toys, Guns, and Yo-Yo's! Still smile when I think of it...
O.K. guys, I finally made it back home after a long day of shoppin'. That stuff is flying off the shelves faster then CHPK can back out of a signed lease deal. ( sorry about that one, I couldnt help it )
I will be heading back into town ( Shreveport and Gamorrah ) every day till Christmas. Get those wish lists turned in before its too late.

P.S. I was right! Its gettin' uglier by the minute out there. HO! HO! HO! turns into "Ah hell no", real quick when the last RSP'ed Pirate Doll gets thrown in somebody elses buggy!
Don't be throwing my rsp'd girl anywhere.
Sounds like a case of doll abuse. Throw the book at him, KB. And shame on you Snake. LOL!
Okay, we're not stupid. Admit it, you found a Gun & Knife show to come into town for, didn't you?

They already got the dolls out in Dillard's? How did Earl's picture come out in the display? LOL
He was looking for the inflatable with the self-inflating pump, but they were already sold out. I bet he told his hottie wife it was one of those inflatable matresses for holiday guests. Anyway, I think he's gone to figure out that embed thing ... and not the kind involving videos on GHS.
