If I have this correct (you live near the intersection of SR 514 & LA 507?), it looks like you're less than 15 miles away from EnCana's 15MMcf/e Bolan-1, which can only bode well for you. Looks like several sections to your west and northwest have been leased recently. Maybe it's only a matter of time.

Cillian, that location is only 5 miles from the JW Adcock H3 Well to the south.

Encana is offering 12K to 18K an acre and 25% royalties. (Pride and Encana are synonymous when it comes to leasing)

I live on Esperenza Rd. Some people near me have leased a few years ago with the landman for only pennies. I have 20 acres, but do not know what people are getting near me. This land will soon be mine, it had been tied up in my dad's succession. So any info about leasing would be helpful to me. thanks

Are you interested in selling land and or minerals? I could put you in touch with someone who could help you out, if that is okay with you. Not sure what the lease offers are as of today, there are so many rumors around.

From want I hear, we are hard pressed to get $14,000 and my attorney says they are slowing downing because of all the apps they already have to process, plus they are backing out of some areas for now. SCARY. I just do not hear on the streets of any better offers. 30/30 would be nice. Sounds like dreaming at this point. Do you really think offers will change MUCH in the next week for north red river? I hope so.

This is why people need to slow down. Get their sections together. Agree to collectively bargain when the time comes and wait a little bit. It will be worth it in the end.
