John,

Check the Sonris site and click on well permits per Parish. It will be classified T, R and section. Check the lease sale and tract history for the monthly bids to verify what company leased the lake bottom (that is state land and the lease/bid package are prepared by DNR). Manna Acq. (CHK) leased the north west and south west sections of Cross Lake on 6/11/08 for $11,750-$14,500/ac. I have the T, R and sections for those parcels if you need them. The state lease is for one year with a rental for the second year at 50% of the first year bonus. If the state lake bottom in your section has been leased at a monthly lease sale, the clock starts ticking for the O & G company at the time of lease sale. They only have two years (not five like private landowner leases).
i try the sonris buy im doing some thing wrong but i live in sec 33 near jolly napier
