Anyone know anything about the Australian company 'Pryme' and Nelson Energy of Shreveport drilling in Lincoln parish on the "Raven Project"? I've been researching Lincoln Parish activity and this seems to keep coming up when I search Haynesville Shale and Lincoln Parish.

Someone put a deal together about a year ago that dealt with property in 3 states. One of my friends called me and asked about the deal. His wife had some property in North Winn Parish and had been contacted, their first offer was $500 per acre and 25%, this was very high dollar at the time, I looked into the matter and the only thing I could find was a deal with an Aussie Co that was for 18,000 acres around very productive property in the Jackson Field and elsewhere in three states. My thoughts at that time was that the selling company didn't have all the minerals on the lands they were trying to sell and that they would offer something that the mineral owner would not refuse. My friend didn't bite.
The first well they drilled in Ruston was pretty weak. The second well they drilled in Ruston came in aroune 750MCFD and 25 BOD. They have a well west of the second one that drilling is complete and the pipeline has been layed, but no frac job or completion yet. More interesting I think is that Indigo has approximately twenty something wells staked starting just west of these wells and extending to the Industry Exit on I-20 (West Simsboro Field). I know that the Napper well in Section 15, T18N-R4W, that they just completed has been making 8 to 8.8 million a day for the past week. I think that is great news for Lincoln Parish. A s a mater of fact, after they drilled the Napper well, they set the rig to somewhere around Keatchie (? spelling) and then after the frac and flowback of the Napper they brought it back and now have it running about 1/2 a mile north of the Napper well. So take heart everyone, good things can happen outside of the Haynesville Shale and the Terryville Field! Good news for Lincoln Parish.
BirdDawg, I have been saying for a while that yall are in it, this is not just a NW LA thing
Two Dogs, I agree, and I think the people on Lincoln need to realize that there is more in Lincoln than just the Terryville Field. I think the Indigo drilling will be vey interesting. It sure got off to a good start.
Thanks guys for the info. My brother and I are about to file the paperwork to finish getting our grandparents estate wrapped up, which includes three wells in Ruston. Section 18, T18N-R2W. This is all new to us and this site has been most informative. We really appreciate you all.
BirdDawg....I believe you are referring to the Napper well described in the Shreveport Scout Details Report as: INDIGO MINERALS LLC, Serial Number 237485, CV RA SUF; NAPPER 004, Section 15, T18N, R4W. If so, I did not know Indigo had fraced this well. Wow...8,000 mcfd is nothing to sneeze at. As reported in another post, this same Section 15 has already produced over 6 million mcf of gas (all from Hosston, Reservoir A). Wonder what will be found in the deeper wells once they get around to drilling them? This is good news for folks in Lincoln Parish who have mineral rights whether they be leased or unleased.
This well was drilled to around 11,000 feet. Most of Indigo's new permits are for 11,500 feet.
Friday on www.silobreaker.com the following was reported:

Pryme Oil & Gas Ltd has begun sales of natural gas and condensate from the third Raven project well, Patterson 16 No 1, in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, US.

Production rates have increased as the completion sand and fluids are recovered from the well, and are currently at 1,000 Mcf per day of natural gas and 14 barrels per day of condensate.

COO Ryan Messer said “The Raven project is proving to be a strong contributor to Pryme’s oil and gas production, and reserves with results from the Patterson 16 No 1 well reinforcing our expectations.”

Oh course, 8,000 mcf per day sounds much better.
Yes. We have a large acreage position pursuing Cotton Valley targets. We're open to offers for Haynesville rights.
oilfinder...do you represent Pryme and Nelson Energy of Shreveport? Is part of your "large acreage position" in the West Simsboro Field?
drillbit,
Contact Nelson Energy regarding the acreage.
What are you asking for Haynesville?
