this is a real car with a home refueling station.

we don't need gas station to sell natural gas.

has anyone researched this?

Reg, converting the Honda capacity of 8.03 GGE yields ~ 1,002 Scf of natural gas. The cost of the tank load at $12 per MMBtu would be $12.39.
That would tranlate to around 6 CENTS PER MILE. check my math.
a similar Civic at 31 mpg would cost $24.66 at $4. a gal to travel 200 miles. that would be 12.3 Cents per mile.

Check my math, if this is correct i am converting at least one vechicle to NG.
Po Boy, I think you are fairly close on the numbers. Bottom line is $4 per gallon for gasoline is ~ $29 per MMBtu which is more than twice the cost for natural gas.
Try $700,000,000,000/year to the middle east. Just imagine if that money stayed in the U.S. instead of going to Saudi Arabia. Everyone should be calling their reps about the natural gas bill instead of worrying if they are going to get $15k/acre bonus instead of a $25k/acre bonus. If that bill doesn't pass they may not get anything but if it passes watch out.
Thats o.k. Kenny Ole Boy , we still love ya' ! You have come so far.
One GGE of natural gas is 127.77 cubic feet. This volume of natural gas has the same energy content as one US gallon of gasoline (based on lower heating values: 900 BTU/CF of natural gas and 115,000 BTU/gallon of gasoline) One GGE of CNG pressurized at 2,400 psi is 0.77 cubic feet. This volume of CNG at 2,400 psi has the same energy content as one US gallon of gasoline (based on lower heating values: 148,144 BTU/CF of CNG and 115,000 BTU/gallon of gasoline.[3] Using Boyle's Law, the equivalent GGE at 3,600 psi is 0.51 cubic feet which corresponds to 14.5 liters or 3.82 actual US gallons.
I read in the Wall Street Journal a few months back and the writer said that 6000 cubic feet of NG was equal to one barrel of oil in energy. I also read about a mechanic that converts Duramax Diesels with a high pressure tank that will inject NG, propane or hydrogen boosting a Hummer to 60 mpg with 800 HP using hydrogen, guess HP would be less with NG.
Mr. McConnell,
Why don't you run for president? I like your ecomonic platform.
Orwell's sheep song?
I saw an article on one of the national news channels a couple of weeks ago that talked about natural gas vehicles, shale gas and U.S. future. Report said that there are HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of natural gas powered cars being manufactured and driven all over the world in almost all other modern nations except the U.S. where there are only a few thousand, mostly in California. Speculated that big oil and American auto industry might have been in bed together keeping us hooked on foreign oil; once again, it's all about money and the average American citizen has been controlled into paying. Report said that there is an EXISTING law that recently went into effect to encourage natural gas conversion which will allow a government grant of $90,000.00 per pump for incentive for gas stations to add new natural gas fill up systems, seems like a good enough incentive to me.
That legislation the Boren Bill was proposed july 22 and has not been debated much less voted into law.

The Lithium Connection to Shale Drilling

Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…
