Should those who hold high positions in government who have private land that is getting leased by the O&G companies have to disclose their deals to the public?

As soon as the drilling gets underway? The playing field is already unlevel. The state, parish, city lands will gather better per acre bonus, royalty, terms of contract precisely and only because they are "public" lands. There will be instances of better contracts but, by a margin equal to the lion's share, the largesse will go to the, again, "public" sector. Others may dispute but cannot dispel what is. That that is, is; that that is not, is not. Truth is truth.
