The following information is on the SONRIS site. It confirms a well has been drilled, but there is no production data.

Bud , Thanks so much... We live in section 17 and never got any information of this well.... a neighbor said they called chesapeak and was told they would be getting a check in about 90 days....does this sound on the up and up... If the 2 units were combined why doesn't it mention section 17 ?? just curious
Unlike drilling unit applications, there is no requirement for the operator to contact mineral or land owners regarding the permitting of a well. The surface location and the bottom hole are both located in Section 18, thus no mention of Section 17 however all mineral interests in the unit regardless of section will receive royalties from this well.
SB, the well would not mention Section 17 because both the surface and bottomhole location are in the Section 18 portion of the unit. That is reason you will want to track wells in both sections.
I didn't realize it was a 960 acre unit. Will have to read more carefully!
Two units were not combined.

The unit is just not along section lines. This is very common along the state line where you are, as the western sections, in this case 18 is a fractional section.

CHK is under no obligation, unless you have wording in your lease, to give you reports. They will be working on a division order/title opinion, and all owners in the unit will receive their checks. CHK typically runs three months behind. (In march you would receive a check for jan. production)
Thank you Barron for the correction. I should have said " two sections were combined to form the unit"
I located the pre app hearing. it is dated nov. 3, 2008.
Correction........

I should have said .... If the 2 SECTIONS were combined......

Thanks Barron .
I believe this is the well S/N 240340 HA RA SUD;QUERBES 18-16-16 H #1.
Thank you guys ever so much.. This is what makes this site a blessing from above.......
For me, it is confusing enough - then having the 2 units combines made it more confusing.
I will keep my eye out for that Check we all want so much. just pay my taxes and I am happy !!!!!!!!
Not two units...two sections.
Can you guys tell me if this well is producing now. or still waiting on something ??
If it is producing, Can you tell how much gas ? Is it a good or great well ??
