Altech-Eco Receives Final EPA Certification for Its Dedicated 2010 Ford Focus CNG Conversion System; Immediately Qualifies for $4,000 Tax Credit

Altech-Eco Corporation of Asheville, North Carolina announced today that they have obtained a Certificate of Conformity (COC) from the EPA for their DEDICATED 2010 Ford Focus compressed natural gas (CNG) conversion system. This is the only EPA certified 2010 CNG system for the 2010 Focus worldwide. The “dedicated” system means that the vehicle uses 100% natural gas, and needs absolutely zero gasoline. Households or companies can now receive a $4,000 Federal Income Tax Credit by purchasing and converting your vehicle with Altech-Eco’s conversion system.

Altech-Eco’s EPA approved Dedicated 2010 CNG Ford Focus conversion system converts the Focus to run exclusively on CNG (a bi-fuel option using both CNG and gasoline is also available) and the system includes a manufacturer rated CNG cylinder with fuel storage capacity of 8.6 GGE (Gas Gallon Equivalent), with a natural gas driving range of 230 - 330 miles and an average of 39 mpg on the highway and 28 in the city, all with over 8 cubic feet of remaining trunk space. Altech-Eco provides a lifetime warranty on all conversion system emissions components. The CNG conversion system for the 2010 Ford Focus is now available at select participating Ford dealerships and approved aftermarket conversion facilities.

By using Altech-Eco’s EPA approved CNG alternative fuel natural gas conversion systems, U.S. consumers will have the opportunity not only to help the environment but also significantly reduce dependency on foreign oil, while saving significant money at the fuel pump. Natural gas is not only cheaper but CNG vehicles have been proven to produce significantly less harmful emissions of pollutants like nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM), carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrocarbons (UHC), carbon monoxide (CO), and sulfur oxides (SOx) as compared to gasoline or diesel fuel.

Altech-Eco is a development stage private company, is a division of privately held TransEco Energy and is not yet publicly traded. Contact Altech-Eco at 828-654-8300 for a list of approved installation facilities or visit www.altecheco.com. Altech-Eco Conversion Systems are produced by Altech-Eco exclusively and are not a Ford Motor Company manufactured product

It makes it difficult for new members to look up specific topics in the site archive if we don't make an effort to categorize our discussion topics properly. 99% of the content of GHS is not on the Main Page, it is on the group pages and in our discussions archive.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
