Is anyone still waiting for bonus payments? Or has most everyone been paid or already been told the offer is withdrawn. After signing my lease in Oct., I still have not been paid, and still have no idea if they are going to be paid. I talked to the lawyer, and he says he sent Porter a letter to ask where we stand. Just curious if there are a lot of people who still do not know anything. I know there are a lot who were told "it wasn't happening."

If they are, they ain't talking about it.
i think people get tired about hearing the "complaining" but that is not what I am trying to do. I just am trying to be informed. I do appreciate the input I have had over the last few months. You are right, though, nobody is talking about it, so it makes me think things have improved for most. So, that is a postive!
In my case and a few hundred others in my section, that had land persons and agreements to lease disapear in days, nothing is better. We have the occasional call and insult from chesaprick offering a couple hundred an acre with an ,as insulting royalty but nothing else. What can we do? Those able can use the time to try and educate themselves for if and when real offers start coming back. When there is no game in town you can't play.If your not playing your not talking.I really don't see any improvement around here.(colquit & Keith Rd.)The regular posters on this site know why there is no noise. Its all in the woods trying to HBP with the capital available. All of the answers to most any question one would ask is already on this site somewhere if you look ,thanks to the regular posters that are so generouse with their knowledge. You guy's and Gal know who you are, many thanks. When my personal investments stop keeping me awake things should get better on all fronts even lease offers. If I had a voice activated keyboard I could really do some Major complaining and posting but the old two finger deal is probably best especially for Ya'll
I have read ya'll a long time but so many years in construction leaves alot to be desired with typeing abilities there for few posts.but KB with one of those babies I could hang with ya
KB, I tried that voice recognition stuff a couple of years back. It worked pretty good during the day but once I got a few shots down all it typed was gobledegoop.
The coon asses think that I come from Texas. When I would tell them I was from Pineville, they would say Quooooooo, ain't that where all the crazy people go.
Caiman, do you mind if I ask....Had you signed a lease? Or, had they made you an offer, and you never did actually sign the lease. You are right, many have been so generous, and I have learned so much from reading these posts.
Caiman...I had signed my lease....but I have not heard anything, can't get Porter to return calls or give me an answer. The lawyer did tell me last week he was trying to find out something, but he was not confident. I was lucky as well because they are getting ready to drill on a section we have about 6 acres in and the permit is for 17,600. Went by there today, and they are building a superpad. Read a little about it on here, and I think that means they will drill on 2 sections? But...not sure. However, we did NOT sign for 25K...it was more like $600. LOL. But, hopefully we can see the benefits down the road. Thanks for your responses!
