BP CEO Said ‘Somewhat Optimistic’ on Natural Gas Prices, but Not Enough to Boost U.S. Activity

BP plc, which has overhauled its global strategy following investor unease and volatile pricing, stands ready to ramp up U.S. natural gas development in the Haynesville Shale, but not until it has better price signals, CEO Murray Auchincloss said Tuesday.
