Claiborne Parish lease offer
Hello,
My sister, two aunts, and I own 80 acres of undivided property in Claiborne Parish:
Section 3, Township 22 North Range 8 West, Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and
Section 34 Township 23 North, Range 8 West, Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter.
We have received an offer for $300 per net mineral acre, a 1/5 royalty, and a 4-year paid up term.
I am not sure if this is the going offer. Can anyone advise us about this and also can anyone recommend a good lawyer who would look over the lease for a reasonable fee. None of us live in Louisiana any more.

Marlin Exploration is registered with the Secretary of State and is listed as an "operator" by the LA Office of Conservation. That's the extent of my knowledge regarding Marlin Exploration LLC.
