It was revealed today, another one Obama's nominees failed to pay $10,000 dollars in taxes. how about liberals paying their own taxes first before asking for mine.
Dorcheated:

Is this really a surprise? Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if every member of the freaking DNC and Obama's administration hadn't cheated on their taxes. Or as they put it, made some honest little mistakes!!!! Anyone ever check into that nice little real estate deal Obama got from the convicted felon? Bought at a fraction of market value from a guy who was eventually convicted of fraud. But no, nothing wrong here! Keep it moving! Nothing to see!

When the guy charged with running the department that houses the IRS is a know and admitted tax cheat, then where does that leave you with the ethics issues??
Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hollered Jack Blake! This is good stuff!
It really does seem that many of Obama's top folks have issues including the guy running the IRS. I really hope Obama and his folks make things better. I have been a registered Democrat, a registered Republican and registered with no party affiliation in my lifetime.
When I look back I've seen tough and good times with both parties in power. The last extremely prosperous economic times for me (if you exclude my Haynesville bonus) were when Bill Clinton was in office. I've heard some republicans say Bill caused the problems we are having now because he pushed through fairness in lending legislation that caused the banks to lend money to folks who were the type of people to reneg on a debt. I never did any research or anything, but this scenario does seem possible.
Bill has a silver tongue and is brilliant.
Obama talked all kinds of stuff about getting us away from foreign oil dependency prior to taking office, but as far as that goes the things I see him talking about now (taxing the oil companies more) will hurt the doemestic production and this includes the Haynesville Shale.
Right now the economy and Obama have Jack Blake more nervous than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs!
KB, I did use the 15% depletion allowance this year. It did help my bottom line, but Uncle Sugar is still gonna get some stimulas money from me. There is another way to figure the depletion instead of taking the easy 15%, but I'm not sure how to use it. Maybe Kathy Morgan can help us if she has time to come up for air before April 15th.
One more last thing before I get off my soap box.
When you limit the amount of write offs to a charitable contributions a person can make.( I know it's for people who make $250,000 or more)you have either got to be freaking brain dead or incompetent, these folks are making GW look smarter everyday.
This pretty well summarizes what Obama is trying to do to us:

The big bail out - a pictorial representation!

Greener Grass... It's important in life to reach out; to strive for ever greater achievement; to go for the greener grass that lies on the other side of the fence. But one must also be careful!

Sometimes you can reach too far.

But when you find yourself over-extended and you're stuck in a situation that you can't get out of, there is one thing you should always remember:

Your government is there to help !

Too darned funny!

I'm not even going to ask where you found these!!!! But I will forward them to my "conservative friends".

But, you know, like the monkey cartoon, this might be racist!! Not sure why, but I'm sure someone will find a reason! I actually could tie this back to a Clinton administration a lot better!!
Look closer ... them bovines is intergrated
KB:

You are a city girl. The one in back is not a cow...:-)

Politicians need to stop acting in their own self interest, and start acting on behalf of the public's interest.
I agree, so this is how I should have put it.

An 8 billion dollar train from Las Vegas to LA is putting Harry's and Nancy's self interest ahead of our nation's.
I'll give you a..... A+ for effort. But I'll have to flunk you on the answer. You really had to stretch to far for that one.
