This was a report on barnett shale decline rates from last August. It was a more pessimistic outlook on what to expect from shale plays. Has recent info shed a more positive outlook for the landowner/mineral owner?
There have been a lot of comments around here about Mr. Berman's opinions. Here is one discussion:

The Sample 9 in 14/11 has produced over 3 billion cu ft of gas in its first 11 full months of production. Compute that Mr. Berman!!!! I'm sure there are many other wells in the Haynesville which have done similarly.
