Diversified Energy: How Dying Gas Wells Are Making One Company Rich

Diversified Energy has been acquiring hundreds if not thousands of older wells across Louisiana and Texas over the last few years.  When a major operator is focused on a new play and needs capital, they often sell their old wells to Diversified.  At least here in Louisiana, Diversified has not drilled any new wells as far as I know.  They simply operate the old wells drilled by other companies.  A business plan that may be problematic in the future.  If not now.
