Typical is going to be 5-6 acres, largely based on the footprint needed for fracturing. Pads in the 3.5 acre range work ok for drilling, but are a tight fit for fracturing. Depending on the operator and advanced planning, pads in this size range cans upport from 3-8 wells. Increasingly, I'm seeingpads push into the 7-10 acre range with plans for 12+ wells.
