The Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field will see three new wells drilled by XTO Energy.
The Ham Gas Unit Well No. 34 will hit 12,100 feet 4.4 miles east of Teague in the J. Lawrence Survey, A-364. This well may be drilled in the Teague (Travis Peak) Field.
The Clarke Gas Unit Well No. 36 will hit 13,000 feet 5.7 miles east of Teague in the J. Mc Annulty Survey, A-409. This well may be drilled in the Teague (Travis Peak) Field.
The Teague I.S.D. Gas Unit Well No. 3H will hit 15,500 feet .3 mile southwest of Teague in the G. Brewer Survey, A-5.
Harrison County
The Bivins Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 9 will be drilled by Valence Operating to 11,000 feet 3.3 miles northeast of Easton in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the J.D. Pinson Survey, A-and may be drilled in the Oak Hill (Pettit or Travis Peak) Fields.
Houston County
Navidad Resources will drill the Crespi Well No. 1H to 15,600 feet 7.8 miles southwest of Lovelady in the East Fort Trinidad (Buda) Field.
Johnson County
Devon Energy will drill nine wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. These wells will hit 9,000 feet.
The Miller-Shipley (SA) Well No. 2H is 6.5 miles northeast of Cleburne in the T.N. Baird Survey, -40.
The King Sisters Well No. 3H and the King Sisters Well No. 4H are 12.4 miles southwest of Cleburne in the C. De Morse Survey, A-196.
The King Sisters Well No. 5H, Well No. 6H and the Well No. 12H are 12.4 miles southwest of Cleburne in the J.J. Allen Survey, A-1224.
The King Sisters Well No. 21H, Well No. 22H and Well No. 23H are 12.4 miles southwest of Cleburne in the W. Sams Survey, A-761.
Chesapeake Operating will drill two wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.
The Cowboy Well No. 3H and the Cowboy Well No. 4H are 14.5 miles north of Cleburne in the J.W. Henderson W Survey, A-376.
Leon County
The Ira Gillen Well No. 3 will be drilled to 11,000 feet 8.8 miles west of Jewett in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field. Valence Operating will drill this well in the M.C. Rejon Survey, A-19 and may be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field or the Birch Creek (Rodessa) Field.
Nacogdoches County
Exco Operating will drill five wells in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field to 15,000 feet.
The Cameron Minerals SU Well No. 6H and the Cameron Minerals SU Well No. 5HB are 4.1 miles southwest of Chireno.
The Cameron Minerals SU Well No. 3HB is 4.2 miles southwest of Chireno.
The Cameron Minerals SU Well No. 7HB and the Cameron Minerals SU Well No. 9HB are 3.8 miles southwest of Chireno. These wells are in the J.A. Chirino Survey, A-17.
Navarro County
The R.H. Boyd Well No. 2 will be drilled to 4,000 feet six miles west of Corsicana in the Powell Field. Thurston Texas Operating will drill this well in the J.D. Matthews Survey, A-537.
Red River County
TMR Exploration will drill the Reeder Oil Unit Well No. 8 to 6,000 feet 4.6 miles northeast of Bogota in a wildcat field. The well is in the J. Nugent Survey, A-654 and may be drilled in the Domino (Clarksville) Field.
San Augustine County
Exco Operating will drill the Dennis SU Well No. 1HR to 15,000 feet eight miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the D. Cowen Survey, A-87.
The Aggies (SL) DU Well No. 1HB will be drilled 3.2 miles southeast of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. Drilled by XTO Energy this well will hit 19,100 feet in the A. Gray Survey, A-640.
Shelby County
XTO Energy will drill three wells in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.
The Indus Well No. 1H will hit 19,000 feet 11.4 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the M.A. Haley Survey, A-276.
The Volga Well No. 1H will hit 20,000 feet 11.4 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the M.A. Haley Survey, A-276.
The Rhone Well No. 1H will hit 20,000 feet 9.5 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the J. Latham Survey, A-419.
Tarrant County
XTO Energy will drill three wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 12,000 feet.
The Edwards Overland NW E Unit Well No. 7H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the I&GN RR Co. Survey, A-832.
The Johnson Ranch Well No. D 3H is 1.2 miles northwest of Benbrook in the M&W Survey, A-1117.
The Dalton Unit Well No. 3H is in the M. Rockerfellow Survey, A-1267, within the city limits of Mansfield.
Chesapeake Operating will drill six wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.
The Brassie Well No. 2H and the Brassie Well No. 3H are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the E. Jones Survey, A-841.
The York Well No. 3H is within the city limits of Haltom City in the J. Walker Survey, A-1654.
The MS South Well No. 3H is within the city limits of North Richland Hills in the S. Richardson Survey, A-1266.
The Foil Well No. 3H and the Foil Well No. 4H are 3.1 miles northwest of Crowley in the I. Flores Survey, A-507.
Vantage Fort Worth Energy will drill three wells drilled in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.
The Steeples Well No. 8H, the Steeples Well No. 9H and the Steeples Well No. 10H are within the city limits of Arlington in the D. Strickland Survey, A-1376.
Upshur County
BP America will drill the William L. Dixon Gas Unit "A" Well No. 6H to 14,850 feet three miles north of East Mountain in the D. Meredith Survey, A-315.
COMPLETIONS
Harrison County
Samson Lone Star completed the Wight GU 1 Well No. 1H in the Waskom Field. This well hit 13,776 feet seven miles south of Karnack. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentiated 4.798 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Johnson County
Chesapeake Operating completed a new well in the East Newark Field. The Little Hoss 7 Well No.A5H hit 10,378 feet 14.1 miles northeast of Cleburne. On a 1-inch choke the well potentialed 746,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
XTO Energy completed three wells in the East Newark Field.
The RFS Unit Well No. B 7H hit 10,798 feet 4.3 miles east of Burleson and potentialed 3.499 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke.
The RFS Jimenez Unit SA Well No. 1H hit 10,761 feet 4.3 miles east of Burleson and potentialed 4.182 million cubic feet of gas on a 12/64-inch choke.
The RFS Jimenez Unit SA Well No. 2H hit 10,493 feet 4.3 miles east of Burleson and potentialed 3.605 million cubic feet of gas on a 55/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Leon County
EnCana Oil & Gas completed the Gresham Trust Well No. 3 to 19,725 feet 4.9 miles southwest of Centerville in the Hayden Lake. On a 15/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.824 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier.
XTO Energy completed the Effie Mae Hull Well No. 4 in the Bear Grass Field. This well hit 10,520 feet 5.7 miles west of Jewett. On a 10/64-inch choke the well potentialed 362,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Pettit.
Valence Operating completed two wells in the Bear Grass Field.
The Russell "A" Well No. 5 hit 10,190 feet four miles west of Jewett and potentialed 734,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke.
The Russell "A" Well No. 4R hit 10,206 feet 3.8 miles west of Jewett and potentialed 999,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak.
Panola County
The G.T. Allison Gas Unit Well No. 4 was completed by BP America to 10,010 feet 2.5 miles west of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 60,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Chesapeake Operating completed the Crump Gas Unit Well No. 1H to 16,190 feet .7 miles southeast of DeBerry in the North Carthage Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.150 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier Shale.
On a 22/64-inch choke the J.H. Browning Well No. 7 potentialed 739,000 cubic feet of gas. Patara Oil & Gas completed this well 11.2 miles southwest of Carthage with a depth of 10,390 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Robertson County
O'Benco completed the Scruggs Well No. 1 to 12,100 feet 14.5 miles northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. On a 26/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.108 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
San Augustine County
The Lobos DU Well No. 1H is six miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. XTO Energy completed this well to 19,208 feet. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 11.176 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
XTO Energy completed the Warriors DU Well No. 1H nine miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. This well hit 19,375 feet and potentialed 10.157 million cubic feet of gas on a 13/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Shelby County
The CCB Field has seen Unit Petroleum complete the Sample Well No. 1 to 11,500 feet 6.3 miles northwest of Center. The well potentialed 16,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Chesapeake Operating completed the Jarry Well No. 1H to 17,633 feet 2.7 miles southwest of Center in the Carthage Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.696 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Smith County
The J.W. Hollingsworth Well No. 1 was completed by Goldston Oil. The well hit 7,507 feet 2.8 miles northeast of Sand Flat in the MBT Field. On an open choke the well flowed with 25 barrels of crude. Production is in the Paluxy.
Tarrant County
On a 64/64-inch choke the Woodland Estates West Unit Well No. 11H potentialed 9.281 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed to 13,250 feet 2.7 miles north of Mansfield in the East Newark Field by Texas International Operating. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Chesapeake Operating completed six wells in the East Newark Field
The Carden Well No. 2H hit 10,086 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 1.617 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The Tech Center Well No. 1H hit 16,635 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 5.672 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
The Mayflower Well No. 1H hit 13,276 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.923 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
The Duck Lake Well No. 7H hit 9,388 feet three miles east of Fort Worth and potentialed 2.921 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The Duck Lake Well No. 9H hit 10,337 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 2.625 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
The CJD Well No. hit 10,588 feet within the city limits of Kennedale and potentialed 3.183 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Wood County
In a lease 2.7 miles southwest of Hainesville, in the Neuhoff Field, the Sasi Ranch Unit Well No. 3 was completed by Energy Production to 11,234 feet. The well flowed with 108 barrels of crude, no choke size was recorded. Production is in the Woodbine.
