The Talco West Unit Well No. 2226H will be drilled to 5,200 feet 4.9 miles southwest of Talco in the Talco Field by Exxon Mobil. The well is in the N. Dembriski Survey, A-132.
Freestone County
XTO Energy will drill the McMichael “B” Unit Well No. 8 in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well hit 12,700 feet two miles southwest of Fairfield in the I.H. Reed Survey, A-23. This well may be drilled in the Teague (Pettit B of Travis Peak) Fields. 
XTO Energy will drill the Foreman “B” No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 16 in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well will hit 13,700 feet 4.7 miles northwest of Donie in the J.L. Chavet Survey, A-10 and may be drilled in the Freestone (Travis Peak) Field or the Donie (Pettit) Field.

The S.W. Henderson Hay GU Well No. 1H was completed by Goodrich Petroleum to 19,312 feet 14.5 miles southeast of Lufkin in the Carthage Field. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 19.633 million cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville Shale.
Cass County
The Sunninghill Well No. 1 was completed by Stroud Petroleum to 10,500 feet 1.4 miles south of Bivens in the East Linden Field and flowed with 33 barrels of crude on an open choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Freestone County
Apache Corp. completed the Laura Bonner Well No. 2 to 12,000 feet 8.4 miles from Fairfield in the Northeast Stewards Mill Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 119,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.
The Ham Gas Unit Well No. 26 was completed to 11,781 feet 3.8 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field by XTO Energy. On a 26/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.533 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
On a 24/64-inch choke the Ham Gas Unit Well No. 32 potentialed 1.326 million cubic feet of gas. XTO Energy completed this well to 10,905 feet 3.5 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
 XTO Energy completed two wells.
  The J.M. Pollard Gas Unit Well No. 29 hit 12,955 feet 3.3 miles northwest of Donie in the Freestone Field. On a 15/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.887 million cubic feet of gas.
  The W.A. Keils Gas Unit Well No. 9 hit 12,572 feet 3.3 miles south of Teague in the Teague Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 785,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
Gregg County
Tanos Exploration completed the P.D. Harrison “E” GU Well No. 11 to 10,734 feet 2.7 miles northwest of Longview in the Willow Springs Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 67,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.
Harrison County
NFR Energy completed the Harris-Munden GU Well No. 2 to 10,280 feet 7.4 miles south of Marshall in the Blocker Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 484,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
GMX Resources completed the Verhalen “B” Well No. 7H to 16,347 feet 8.2 miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage Field. This well potentialed ­­5.254 million cubic feet of gas on a 15/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesvlle Shale. 
Henderson County
Decker Operating completed the Landis Well No. 1 in the Tri-Cities Field to 11,994 feet 4.8 miles southwest of Athens. The well potentialed 350,000 cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Johnson County
The East Newark Field has seen Chesapeake Operating complete four wells. 
  The Pennington Well No. 4H hit 9,316 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Cleburne and potentialed 1.184 million cubic feet of gas. 
  The Sessions Well No. 2H hit 9,915 feet 2.4 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 2.970 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke. 
  The Randolph Well No. 2H and the Randolph Well No. 3H are 4.6 miles northeast of Cleburne. The No. 2H hit 11,620 feet and potentialed 2.231 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. The No. 3H hit 11,260 feet and potentialed 3.526 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-in choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale 
XTO Energy completed a new well in the East Newark Field. The Freight Train Unit Well No. 3H was completed to 11,267 feet 2.5 miles southeast of Mansfield. On a 30/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.003 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Leon County
XTO Energy completed three new wells in the Bear Grass Field. 
  The Varibus Well No. 11H hit 18,492 feet 6.1 miles northwest of Jewett and potentialed 7.607 million cubic feet of gas on a 12/64-inch choke.

Limestone County
XTO Energy completed the B.W. Thompson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 1 to 14,500 feet three miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 881,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.
Nacogdoches County
Samson Lone Star completed the Jude GU Well No. 1H to 20,185 feet 6.5 miles northwest of Chireno in the Carthage Field. On a 12/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.077 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
EOG Resources completed the Trainer Trust Well No. 1H and the Trainer Trust Well No. 2H 2.8 miles southwest of Chireno in the Carthage Field. 
  The No. 1H hit 19,665 feet on a 14/64-inch choke and the well potentilaed 9.098 millio cubic feet of gas. 
  The No. 2H hit 20,265 feet on a 14/64-inch choke and potentialed 8.579 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale. 
XTO Energy completed the Texans DU Well No. 1H to 18,466 feet two miles northeast of Chireno in the Carthage Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.928 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale. 
Navarro County
The South Kerens Unit Well No. 6 was by Atoka Operating to 5,036 feet 15 miles southeast of Corsicana in the South Kerens Field. This well flowed with 17 barrels of crude, no choke size was recorded. Production is in the Woodbine.
Panola County
Exxon Mobil completed the Bess Smith Broderick GU 2 Well No. 4H to 14,195 feet in a lease 8.5 miles of Carthage, in the Carthage Field. On a .4062-inch choke the well potentialed 3.387 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Classic Operating completed the Werner-Micher Well No. 5H to 12,200 feet 3.6 miles northwest of Joaquin in the Carthage Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.680 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Anadarko E&P completed two wells in the Carthage Field.
  The CGU 5 Well No. 20 hit 9,837 feet 2.9 miles southwest of Carthage and potentialed 875,000 cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke. 
  The CGU 5 Well No. 21 hit 9,850 feet 3.41 miles south of Carthage and potentialed 898,000 cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley. 
Devon Energy completed the Allison Unit Well No. 1 and the Southland Paper Co. Well No. 24 in the Carthage Field.
  The No. 1 well is within the city limits of Panola and hit 6,498 feet. The well potentialed 103,000 cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Travis Peak.
  The No. 24 well hit 9,743 feet 6.3 miles southwest of Carthage and potentialed 948,000 cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
The Carthage Field has seen NFR Energy complete two new wells. 
  The Foote GU Well No. 3H hit 18,583 feet seven miles northwest of Beckville and potentialed 9.064 million cubic feet of gas on a 21/64-inch choke. 
  The Foote GU Well No. 4H hit 17,100 feet seven miles northwest of Beckville and potentialed 8.372 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
NFR Energy completed the Foote GU Well No. 5H to 16,430 feet seven miles northwest of Beckville in the Carthage Field. This well potentialed 8.981 million cubic feet of gas on a 21/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Rusk County
In a lease 5.7 miles southwest of Henderson, in the East Henderson Field, the Craig GU Well No. 3H was completed by Goodrich Petroleum. This well hit 16,026 feet and potentialed 8.902 million cubic feet of gas on a 43/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
San Augustine County
SM Energy completed the Magellan Well No. 1H in the Carthage Field. This well hit 18,970 feet 1.7 miles northeast of San Augustine. On a 2/64-inch choke the well potentialed 11.099 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
EOG Resources completed the Teal Unit Well No. 1H to 19,343 feet 6.7 miles southeast of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 9.852 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
In a lease 3.9 miles southeast of Chireno in the Carthage Field, XTO Energy completed the Hilltoppers DU Well No. 1H to 20,388 feet. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 11.318 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Shelby County
The Spurlock Well No. 2H was completed by Classic Operating to 14,039 feet 3.2 miles northwest of Joaquin in the Southeast Carthage Field. On a 36/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.783 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Complete Vacuum and Rental completed the Grace Well No. 1 to 5,300 feet 1.4 miles east of Joaquin in the Joaquin Field. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Gloyd formation.
XTO Energy completed three wells in the Carthage Field. 
  The Mustangs DU Well No. 1H hit 19,139 feet nine miles south of Center. On a 13/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 12.564 million cubic feet of gas.

  The Danube Well No. 1H hit 10,321 feet 11.5 miles northeast of Shelbyville. On a 11/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.477 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Tarrant County 
The Gregory Rawdon Well No. 1H, the Gregory Rawdon, Well No. 2H and the Gregory Rawdon Well No. 3H have been completed by Devon Energy in the East Newark Field. 
  The No. 1H hit 11,045 feet 16 miles southeast of Fort Worth. On a 34/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.881 million cubic feet of gas. 
  The No. 2H hit 10,482 feet 16.4 miles southeast of Fort Worth. On a 38/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.111 million cubic feet of gas. 
  The No. 3H hit 10,015 feet and potentialed 2.012 million cubic feet of gas on a 38/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Texas International completed the Woodland Estates West Unit Well No. 9H in the East Newark Field. This well hit 13,442 feet and potentialed 9.100 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale. 
Chesapeake Operating completed 14 new wells in the East Newark Field and were gauged on a .75-inch choke.
