The 750 people who signed and thereby executed leases with JPD (ie Chesapeake) in the group from Greenwood will know if Chesapeake "honors all executed leases" (according their spokesman Kevin McCotter). At the Oct 4 signing event they were issued a 25 day bank draft. Based on when the draft was processed the first drafts need to be funded before 4 pm on Monday Nov 10th.

With all the bad press that Chesapeake gets we have invite Mr. McCotter to Mondays "revealing event". At exactly 4 pm we will know whether the first drafts will expire (and be returned with the lease) or be funded as promised.

We as a group will assembly in front of Community Bank 400 Travis starting at 3:45 PM. We have invited Mr. McCotter (or a representative) to join us at that time and give him the opportunity to be thanked by members of our group in appreciation for demonstrating to us that Chesapeake "honors all executed leases".

If you are in the neighborhood please join us!

It will look like this....

I saw on the 6 pm news that a Greenwood Group members Draft, was not Funded today when it should have been.
More Bad News @ 10pm

I have to pay my Lender (Chase) $300 nonrefundable payment to get them to sign the "non disturbance form" that JPD is requiring.

Guess that will be a waste of $300

I have conflicting story now---have another client who is being told that theirs was funded and a check would be at their bank on thursday. This was one of my client's for whom i was able to take care of the form--with a few revisions--?? i guess we still wait. In your case--since form not turned in by deadline--i guess i would wait to hear from larry for some direction---i hate for you to spend money if its for nothing, ya know?
If they were told by JPD they would be funded they might be and maybe not. LLots of those folks that went down town were told they would be funded later in the week. However dont forget you have a person whos Draft was not funded when it was do today. So that should worry the rest of the folks.
Dracula has struck again sucking the money from your pocket book.
Just before 4 pm "Roger" went into Community Bank to see if his draft had expired or been funded. As the cameras rolled Roger emerged from the bank to address a large number of assembled Greenwood residence. The draft was allowed to expire without funding. JPD was unwilling to fund it because Chesapeake failed to transfer the money!
They wouldn't even cover drafts that amounted to about $60,000!!!
It is hard to believe that they would be willing to fund the remaining drafts amounting to millions over the next week.

We immediately went to visit Mr. McCotter (who failed to show up as an invited speaker at the Bank) and spoke with him at his office at 333 Texas St suite 1100.

We asked him again "Does Chesapeake honor executed leases?" His answer again was "Yes!"
We asked him why he let Roger's draft go unfunded? He said we needed to talk with JPD. We told him we already talked with JPD and they said Chesapeake never sent them the requested money! He had no answer.

is this mr larson??
Looks like "Catfish Jones" to me.
"Catfish" became a community organizer in an effort to transform the municipal swimming pools across the country into a aquaculture program to raise catfish. These swimming pools had become liabilities to their communities because of tort lawyers. John K. Snyder, the mayor of Alexandria, Louisiana had failed in a previous attempt to do the same thing. This attempt by "Catfish" failed also, but at a cost to the taxpayer to the tune of 1 Zillion dollars, tort lawyers included for the deaths of 10 jillion catfish.
I would rather be swimming with Catfish than the Snakes we seem to be in Deep Water with
GB you are insuficient in your valuation of swimming with Catfish or snakes but you left with nothing to reply to. A wimps way out.
The picture is Mr. Kevin McCotter
larry l...i was asking if you were larry larson?? LOL! Seen mr mccotter on the news tonite---looked a bit frazzeled!!
