I don't know if this is good or bad news - but I had to post it. Fidel Castro has come out against shale gas.
I wonder if Cuba has shale gas? Probably not and that's why he's so against it.
As someone who grew up near Barksdale in the 60's it's good to see Fidel upset!! I wonder how many people outside of Cuba will be swayed? Not many, he's lost a lot of his luster in the past 30 years.

yeah i wonder what that particular mass murdering marxist would think about having his image marketed as edgy fashion to teenyboppers, possibly he'd be conflicted. if they gave him a cut though i bet he'd be cool with it.
Here is an interesting follow up blog. It may explain why Castro came out against shale gas - because his old buddies in China are making many deals with US companies to develop shale gas. Maybe Fidel is trying to influence China???
