Has the true cost of coal been competitive with ng?

According to this long-term study, the cost of coal to quality of life & the environment may not have been so competitive after all. More reasons to promote the use of ng.

Sesport, I watched a progam a few weeks ago about mountaintop removal mining in Appalachia. It was and is absolutely tragic to see the consequences of this shortcut form of mining.

Les - It's a one horse show for these folks .. darned if they do & darned if they don't ... Catch 22. I'd bet they still shop at company stores, folks may or may not own the homes they bought through the company banks.

I remember when the "good old boys" fought so hard here to keep banking under tight control. Thankfully, that changed.
