Cary, is this Holmes County Mississippi?  Where is Moon Lake.  Some more detail as to the location would be helpful.

I am sorry.   Yes, it is Holmes County, Mississippi.    But correction, the drilled and producing area is northwest of Tchula, Ms. on the west side of HORSESHOE LAKE, close to the boundary of Humphreys County, near Highway 49.

If no one chimes in, I'll try to take a look when I get caught up.  The Mississippi O&G database can be problematic to navigate.  I haven't used it since the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale play folded.

Cary, the only well reporting for Holmes County is the Harry O'Neal operated by White River Operating in the Horseshoe Lake Field.  From 12/1/2025 to the present time it has reported 5 barrels.  I'm afraid the production might as well be zero.

That is the one I saw.   Thank you for looking that up for me.   I guess the cost of fracking is way more these days than the price of oil.   So much for drill, baby, drill....at least, for me.   I really appreciate you!

I remember being on this board and talking to you some years ago.    You were quite helpful to me.    Yes, I have tried to negotiate that O&G database, which is quite challenging to a layperson like myself.   I even called the courthouse there, and they acted totally clueless as to whether any plays were active in that county, and I talked to several people there in the courthouse.   I also called the attorney who negotiated my prior lease, and he said, don't worry, if there is drilling, they will be knocking on your door.    Ha, ha, I live in Memphis.    I did find one area being drilled quite close to mine, and I can forward to you the exact location of my land on my lease papers.   I just have a feeling that the oil market there collapsed like you said, and I am whistling in the wind.
