Someone said that the gas companies are in a "horse trade" with their acreage. My question is if my "horse" is traded to another company are they supposed to notify me??

Only if it is in your lease for you to be notified.
I have a little over 4 acres with unleased mineral rights off of N. Lakeshore Dr. I'd be willing to trade for like acreage and like circumstances in southern DeSoto or eastern Red River Parishes. :) I like horse trading.
Okay. Keith maybe you need a mineral swap page so Crunchy, El Theo and other members can wheel and deal. Is 4 acres off of N. Lakeshore equal to 2 acres in south DeSoto or eastern Red River? I don't know but I think you guys would be trading ponies. Shetlands at that. LOL!
Okay, I was traded. I got traded up so I think I will stay with my new situation. Thanks Theo. They didn't let me know. I had to do some digging.
