Is this for the Chesapeake well La Bokay in section 21? I am in that section that is why I am asking. You should be able to get $450 for one line. I always say to get a good oil and gas attorney. They can save you money and mistakes.
I'm also hearing $450 for a 16" line.
Thanks so much. So, tell me this....how many rods can there be per acre?
It all depends on the shape of your acre, and the direction the pipeline goes through it. A rod is 16 1/2 feet.
Rods is a linear measurement. Acres is a square measurement. Square rods would be the equivalent. Pipelines are in plain rods. Take the length of the pipeline in feet and divide by 16.5. That will equal rods. Width does not matter in the calculations of rods. Width does matter in the price of what you get per rod. The wider the ROW should = more $$
