Has anyone received any offers to lease in the last month? The lease on my property expires January 20th and I'm wondering what the going rate per acre is in Caddo.

We just received an offer from Chk. for $400 an acre. I guess we will learn what its like to be force pooled . Oh...they already have a pad in progress in our section with plans to drill in January...hope you have better luck!!
Scout, I'm assuming you turned this offer down. What happens with forced pooling?
There are many references on this site that could explain it a lot better than I could. I'm still a newbie at all this, but it sounds like it would be worth checking into. ..couldn't possibly be as bad as the offer our group has.
Scout, what Section, Township, & Range are you in?
linda. Hard to give you an estimate without knowing more about your property. Size. Location. However, considering your lease expiration date, if you reveal that information on the site, you will be exposing yourself to a lot of interested parties. Not something Haynesville cares to facilitate. Your call. If you would care to contact me directly, go to my sponsor page and get my direct email. Or click on my "Your Personal Landman" ad.
Solicitation is also something the site cares not to facilitate.

Depends on where you are.

Do you have an option pending on your current lease?
The Baron is correct. Not only does Skip Peel post accurate and intelligent comments and information here, he is very respectful and does not post snide comments. I believe a few months back that Haynesville even posted some type of "Letter of Recommendation and/or Introduction" about Mr. Peel's business.
Either way. I thought the policy was black and white. I stand corrected.

But it wasn't personal - just an observation.
HBP,
It seems alot of people on this site take everything personal........ Trust me I know from first hand.......
