I got a letter that Chesapeake will begin drilling in our section. Just cuious what local production rates are in the Greenwood, Waskom Field. I would like to know if anyone knows the day rate / production rate / Cubic Feet per day in Section number #2, #11 or #12. I appreciate any help. We just want to know what to expect. Again, any help is very much appreciated.

UPITT. I suggest that you review the articles on the SONRIS Help Page. I put it up on the main page for you. If you wish to track activity in your area by Field: Use the link to SONRIS Lite, under "Well Information" click on "Wells By Field ID" input 4313 which is the code for the Greenwood - Waskom Field. You'll have to wait a moment for the field history to load and you should scroll to the bottom looking for the wells that are most recent. Note the very last wells listed are SWD (Salt Water Disposal). The current producing wells (code 10) and those drilling or permitted (code 1) will be just above the first SWD. Haynesville wells will be obvious by their extreme depth. They stand out. This search will give you an idea of HA production in the field. I suggest you also consider searching by section-township-range as the wells in closest proximity to your property are the most important. It would a service to the members if you could upload a copy of your letter to the website. I suspect that your letter is a pre-conference notice letter for a Chesapeake unit application. If that is the case, it will be of interest to quite a few members. Good Luck.
Thanks Skip. Good Info.
I am in section13 T-16N-R16W HA RA SUHH unit, that is being drilled at this time. Can you draw royalties from the section (13), or is it specified by the township or the serial number? I am asking referanced to SL Herold 13 #1 well, serial #239089,S13 T17N-R16W.

Thank you
A well pays royalties based on the location of the perforations in the wellbore. Not necessarily the surface location. The location of the perforations are in the completion results in the Well Scout report of SONRIS. And the first entry in the Well Scout gives the surface location including section and the PBL (Planned Bottom Hole Location, including section) where the perforations will be made.
I got a letter to as a matter of fact I recieved 2 letters. One says Chesapeak is creating 1 additional rig to be designated as HA RA SUHH reservoir A in the Greenwood Waskon Field.. To force pool and unitize all seperately owned tracts, mineral leases, and other property interests within the proposed HA RA SUHH,with allocation of production to the tracts within such unit to be on the surface acerage. I signed with Petrohawk.. Can anybody explain what this means to me.. My printer is down as soon as I can I will upload the copy for all to see...

Thankyou all for your help.

Thankyou
Susan
They are forming a new production unit. Search this site for "force pool" and "unitization"
Which Township and range?
thankyou Baron have a nice day.
Susan, did you receive the letters recently because Chesapeake applied for the following unit in May.

S13-T16N-R16W, HA RA SUHH Unit, Chesapeake, Greenwood-Waskom Field, Caddo Parish

If Petrohawk controls mineral rights in this section, they will be an non-operating working interest owner in the unit. Petrohawk would be responsible for paying you for any royalties related to production from the unit although they may have an arrangement for Chesapeake to make royalty payments on their behalf.
Yes Les they did come in may.. Thankyou so much for the info.. This stuff is so confusing for me lol.

Take care and thanks again

Susan
