Later today, Boone will be speaking at the National Clean Energy Summit 2.0 in Las Vegas. There will be a live video stream of the event available on the NCEP website - click here.
From the NCEP website:

"High-level industry leaders, scientists, policy experts, and public officials, along with citizens and the media, will gather in Nevada for a day-long summit hosted by the Center for American Progress Action Fund, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This year's summit will bring together the nation's top minds including former President Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, energy executive T. Boone Pickens, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, White House Council on Environmental Quality Special Advisor Van Jones, Nevada State AFL-CIO executive Danny Thompson, and many others to chart a course for our nation's clean energy future."

The event starts at 10:00 am PDT. Visit www.cleanenergysummit.org for more details about the program. We will also have coverage of the event on the Daily Pickens blog at PickensPlan.com.

From a Wall Street Journal blog discussing this summit.

"They’re still working out ways to boost renewable energy, energy efficiency, and the like, but one thing stands out from the beginning: The green patina that natural gas has suddenly assumed."

To submit a question to the panel:

You are invited to participate in the National Clean Energy Summit Town Hall by asking questions. On August 10th (that's right now, today), you can send us questions or comments by email.

To submit a question to the panel, send an email to questions@cleanenergysummit.org. Don't forget to include your name and hometown in the body of your email.
Thanks, jffree. I'm watching it now and sent a question in about natural gas vehicles. Hey, maybe they can answer that question about the number of wells needed (and probably better than I did, lol).

:0)
Oh, you wouldn't!

I'm watching, too. Good discussion!
I only sent mine, asked why conditions couldn't be included in the bail outs to get our auto manufacturers to get us some ng personal vehicles.

Hey, did ya' hear Boone defend against allegations that he never approached any Republicans about his ideas? His answer "Yes, I did. They just didn't ever do anything for me." lol

oops, I'd better be careful, I'll be sent to the Political Group with comments like that. ha, ha

:0)
I heard it. Had to laugh!
Be sure and let us know if you get an e-mail response to your question. It was a good one.
I'm going to sit by the "mailbox" every day with my elbows on my knees, chin in my hands, expectant puppy-dog eyes. lol IF I get an answer, you'll be the first to know.
But, I gotta warn ya', there were probably a "gazillion" questions sent in ... I might end up putting out a cardboard cut-out likeness of myself by the mialbox. Waterproof, of course.

:0)
LOL, I think they took questions most of the day and answered, what, six or so in that last session? I think you are safe not hovering near the mailbox.
Shoot, I have the lawn chair and patio umbrella all set up and ready to go. Thought about selling lemonade, too, while I was at it.

BTW, I had to cut out and miss the end of the show. Do you see any feature that is going to leave it online for replay? I see a replay button in the middle of the NCES logo, but it doesn't seem to work.
sesport, The video feed from yesterday doesn't work anymore. Here's a page where you can download the the whole thing:
