Skip,
This appears t be partial listing. Is this result of S'port Times restrictions to try and force people to subscribe to Times on intent?
Thanks for your posting
Aubrey, I'm unsure what you mean by a "partial" listing. And no, I don't think that it is a ploy to get readers. The days of the Shreveport Times employing anyone with even a cursory knowledge of the Oil & Gas business ended when Gannett acquired the paper many years ago. Now, once a week, a gofer picks up copies of permits and completions at the District 6 Conservation office in Shreveport and then someone at the paper composes the weekly report from those copies. I look forward to this report each week. I appreciate Skip taking the time to post it as well.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
