I have been engaged in some spirited HS HorSe Play the last couple of days on another thread; Jay ended up involved in some of it (pro- v. anti- industry cannoneering) and absorbed some of the crossfire. Seemed like there was more to it this go around then just the immediate discussion at hand, though.

Conversations get charged and things are said in the heat of the moment. I have run KB off twice and I still can get rid of her. Jay will be back.

Man do I ever. What we need to do is get some O&G professionals
to come out and join us in bowling. Leave all that O&G talk at home for a couple of hours and have some fun. Maybe the landowners bowling against the O&G pro's.

I had better never hear one of you men say anything about us women being touchy! I will miss Jay's expertise and advice as much as the rest of you guys. What I won't miss is him getting all mad and taking his marbles and going home! This is beginning to be a pattern. We all have brains and should be allowed to question other's advice. He does not like anyone to disagree with him on anything. Jay develop thicker skin. Man up!
Now, haven't I just said what most of you are thinking?!?!?

The thread was "Why should I lease my Land". Conversation had absolutely nothing to do with Jay. He decided to chime in on the "abuse" that the industry is having to endure on this site. Follow along for yourself...

P.S. While in the throngs of death , Jay, in his last quivering, spasmotic attempt at shale life, gave me the keys to the Geology Department. I will only be holding them until he is brought back to life once again so please try and hold all the tough questions until he gets back. Try to hold it together folks, he has come back to life numerous times.

The main problem I have is that Shaleaside kills all information that you have posted, making it one of the most unforgivable forms of death because you kill any pertinent information that may have been posted.This site is about the Haynesville shale and the people that make up both sides of this battle. And yes it is a battle. If you dont think it is you dont have enough at stake.Its about trying to get to the bottom of what all this really means. Its not about taking my word for it or anybody elses for that matter. Its about putting your thoughts and ideas out there for others. Its about the info that you found on another spot online. Its about how to keep from making the same mistakes that others have made.

During the slow down, there have been all manners of twisted conversations and shenanigans played on each other as we grow to know, love and respect others on this site that we may or may not share much common ground with outside of this forum. Just look at the bowling thread if you dont know what I am talking about. Its a lot of fun.At times maybe too much fun. (wink,wink) But when the time comes again for the tempo to pick up and leasing begins to accelerate, make no mistake, this will again become the proving grounds for the Haynesville shale saga.This is what makes this site what it is.There is no other forum that can begin to match this place. But if you are looking for the kool-aid network, its on another channel. As long as I am allowed to be a part of this site, I will do my best to be myself, day in and day out. For better or worse, I make no apologizes for that. While trying to be respectful of others I will call BS when it arrives,just as you should call BS if you think I am delivering a load. Straight up, face to face. Feelings will get hurt. This aint the Care Bears Movie. This is for keeps. Billions upon billions of dollars at stake.

As long as it is legal to question Fact & Fiction , this site will continue to be the future history book to the largest natural gas play in the continental U.S., ever!
I hope to continue to be a part. Nuff said.
