If a well produced 3,361,321 for the first 24 months production, what would be a reasonable guess as to what the EUR for the well would be?

Thanks,

Les, Dion, I wouild like you both to take a look at another well and estimate the EUR for the well.  The Serial # of the Sample 32 well is #239987.  I estimate that the well has an EUR approaching 20 BCF, and I'd like your thoughts on the subject.  At 12 months, the well produced 4,352,864 mcf.  At 24 months the well had produced 7,007,099 mcf and in the 24th month it still produced 174,038 mcf.  It clearly hasn't been produced on a restricted choke, but in spite of that, has held up quite well.  Your thoughts?  I trust that Arthur Berman is wrong about this well and hope it doesn't sink into a black hole.

SB, I would concur this well should have an EUR close to 20 Bcf.  Petrohawk seemed to have shifted the well to their restricted choke program in the 2nd Qtr of 2010 as shown by the smaller choke size.

Thanks, Les.

"your well is about to spontaneously collapse into a black hole"

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
