John, most horizontal wells have H in the name such as John Q Public H #1 Well. Also, the listed measured depth will be more than the true vertical depth on the well permit in Sonris.

John, This is possibly a good news/bad news situation for you. The good news is that Exco Resources (an excellent Haynesville Shale driller) is drilling DeBroeck well as a horizontal Haynesville which should result in plenty of royalty income. The bad news is that the surface location is in 16/13, Section 33, but the bottom hole location is not in 16/13, Section 33.............it is in 15/13, Section 4, so unless you own minerals in 15/13, Section 4, you won't be getting any royalty from this well. If that is the case, it will probably be just a matter of time before Exco drills a horizontal Haynesville in your Section 33. Good luck.
