I have land in section 33, 16n-13w in elm grove. The one
well we received royalties on was Debroeck su 115. I now see
another well added Hoss/Debroeck in the same field and same
parrish (S. Caddo). What does this mean for my 250 acres in
the aforementioned unit?

LCV RA SU115 is a unit formed for the Lower Cotton Valley formation. The well, DEBROECK 33 #1, is producing from perforations at 11522 to 11536'. HOSS RA SU97 is a Hosston formation well, B DEBROECK 33 #1, permitted to 6800' True Vertical Depth and 6919' Measured Depth.

Go read it again.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
