Royalty Owner's Meeting

Is this still on for March 26th at LSU-S at 9am-Noon?  What building?  I looked under "Royalty Owner's section and didn't see an update.  Thanks, jhh

You're right. It's going to be held in the University Center Theater. Admission is free and we'd love to see you there!

Thanks for the NARO seminar at LSU-S. Couldn't stay for the third session but got a little answer about the oil rumors in Harrison and Panola counties.  but not enough to bet the milk money on.  I learned a little and met a couple of the people i'll need to talk with later.  Again, thanks... jhh

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
