Frac Water Education Series: Sabine River Authority to address new regulations and water prices

On July 1st the Sabine River Authority of Louisiana implemented its first-ever regulations and pricing for water outside the Toledo Bend project. The changes target withdrawals of water from the streams and tributaries of the Sabine Watershed for hydraulic fracturing. According to Executive Director, James W. Pratt, the new regulatory regime will balance the needs for environmental protection and economic development from shale production.

Many landowners in Sabine and DeSoto parishes will find that they now fall under the new permitting process and will have to pay for water they sell for frac jobs.  You may want to participate in the conference call above if you currently sell water in those parishes or are considering building a pit for water sales.

If you can't listen to the webinar... can you listen to a recording later?  thanks, jhh

I will be recording the session and posting it to Wrightwaterresources.com BUT you'll miss the Q&A if you don't attend.
Ben will be uploading the audio for this later today. Stay tuned.

For anyone who may have missed the teleconference last Friday about the changes in the Sabine River Watershed here is a link to the recording download: Wright Water Resources - Education Materials

You may experience a short pause before the session begins. If there are questions, I'll do my best to answer them here.
