Does anyone know about this?

RRC of Texas and other records shows on a report I found that they have taken out oil and gas from the wells. Not sure how to calculate royalties, but I am supposed to be getting royalties from well one and two.

Anyone know how to calculate all of this?

Lee, before you worry about royalties it would be advisable to determine whether you own any minerals in this unit.  When seeking location specific information it is best to post your questions in the appropriate group, in this case for Texas minerals, District 3.  Use the link, join the group re-post your discussion and read through the group discussions.  When you post to a group all the members receive an email alerting them to the new discussion topic. You will find knowledgeable members who will help you out.

Lee you are the first member I can recall from Jefferson County. Come on over to the District 3 group.... we talk about oil & gas everywhere in Texas that doesn't fit into a named county group.

In the meantime, on the main page where it says "Looking for something?" type in royalty calculator. You will find many pages of discussions about royalties, how to figure them and links to several different calculators. There has been a huge amount of discussion on the subject over the years.

Thanks. Maybe I can get the word out to more people in this area about this site. There has been a lot of drilling around here over the past couple of years

using the RRC website, I think there is one drilling unit which is the Amelia Elementary Well #1 - The production data query: http://webapps.rrc.state.tx.us/PDQ/changePeriodAction.do

reports 5,394,781 mcf of gas and 252710 bbls of condensate in the period from February of 2012 to November of 2012.  No report is present for the month of December.  It averaged 566 bbls of condensate in November.

Its a small unit, and a lot of it is subdivided into small holdings - like 0.2 acres

Its one hell of  well, but for your return to be large, you'll need to have a fair amount of the unit, like maybe a few acres.  have you received division orders?

hey lee, jffree1 must have forgotten about me... i lived in jeff. county for the first couple of years i was on this website. i looked into the wells being drilled in the area and most are multi completions. meaning more than one completion from the same well bore. the one you are asking about is at the intersection of hwy 90 and major drive. my best advice to you is to master the rrc website. there is a wealth of info there for the public to have. just have to learn to navigate the site.

KJ... what can I say to make up for my lapse! I did forget you and I apologize. To be fair, though, I always thought of you as a Shelby County owner... who happened to live at Beaumont. It's good to know you are still lurki looking in on us. : )

The API is 245-32694 if anyone wants to see the completion packet. It looks like ~60' producing interval in the Yegua and was drilled directional under a subdivision. Samson has also completed the #2 well but only has two months production on file.

For the record, this appears to be a conventional formation, but there are tests of the Yegua in a number of the southern counties, south of the edwards shelf.
