Pleasant Hill Store

We have spent many a morning being teased by the smell of this sausage being cooked up. I don't have the address, but you won't miss it.

I'm sure Keith is referring to Gregory's Store. They have a large smokehouse out behind the store. Danged good pork sausage.
I Love Sausage! If he keeps mentioning it, I will get him to pick me up 5 lbs. on his way back to Virginie. LOL!
We always refer to it as Pleasant Hill Sausage...sounds better

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
