It seems my background in discussion forums has changed from white to gray in the past day or so? Has there been a board software/configuration change?

Yes, I DO need to get a life, but I notice things like this.

Methinks I like this better. I'm not sure yet.
I'm not complaining, just wondering if it's changed or if I've slipped into an alternative universe again.
It's a little easier on the eyes imo
Mac:

On a related topic, when I upgraded to IE8 recently I noticed that the reply boxes will only fill to a certain extent prior to anything entered at the bottom being shoved below the bottom of the text box. Each character typed will then show up only momentarily prior to the reply box 'jumping' back to its previous position. It makes one's train of thought hard to follow as one types. I always end up having to cursor down to the bottom of the reply box to check the last few words / sentence that I type. It does not occur on IE7 (which I still use on my laptop). What gives?
Give up on Internet Exploder/VirusMagnet2000. Use Firefox.

I use Firefox except on brain damaged web sites like SONRIS that require IE. Unfortunately, lots of bad web site designers are too stupid or uncaring to make their web site work with a standards compliant web browser.

Firefox is much more secure. If you spend a little extra effort, it has lots of additional features/addons such as blocking flash animation. Add the noscript plugin and you can avoid a lot of dangerous or simply annoying bad web stuff.

Mac, I notice details, too. It's almost a curse.
I like it. It's easier on my eyes. I have exerienced the text box anomaly. Can I just google "Firefox" to find a download?
I switched to Firefox after I upgraded to IE8. It's a quick and easy download and I think it's faster. I use Sonris with it without any problems.
wpt,
Me too.
Does the interactive map on SONRIS work for you with Firefox?
IE only for me

The website was the brainchild of Keith Mauck, a landowner and entrepreneur who recognized a pressing need: landowners in the region had little access to…
