If there is an off-site well location, it looks like Sonris is listing those wells by the section the surface location of the well is located in, not the actual section(unit) they are drilling into and producing from. For example, the unit comprises the entire section 25, yet the well is located on the surface in Section 36, and they are drilling into Section 25 and getting production from there, but sonris search of section 25 has nothing, and search of section 36 has the well that is getting production from Section 25. Sorry for the long and maybe confusing post.

You are exactly right Sulley and I'm not sure why they do it. The most glaring example of this is the Sample 32H (239987). The well pad (location) for the Sample 32 is in Section 5 of T14N,R11W. However Section 32 is in T15N,R11W. The well is named "Sample 32" because the Samples own the land where the pad location is, even though, to the best of my knowlege the Samples don't own so much as an acre of land in Section 32 which is where all the perfs are and where the mineral owners are that are being paid by the well. To take it a step farther, Sonris has the well listed as being in Red River Parish even though Section 32 is 100 % in Caddo Parish. Strange, strange, strange!
Yes, I just wanted to point out that if a mineral owner was trying to research production in their section(unit), they may not be able to find it if they searched by section number.
Sonris shows a permit for Breedlove in 25 and also 36. I was assuming there are 2 wells for Breedlove.
I thought I read somewhere that the well is named in the following manner. The family name of the property owner where pad is located. Then the section where the perfs are, and "H" means horizontal.
I am not sure of this but its seems that I read that somewhere on this site.
Missy, you are correct. There are different versions utilized of property owner name.
