Good evening all,

Looking at a well on Sonris, there are several organizational red flags such as "illegal movement", fines, civil penalties, etc. Where can I find more information as to what actions caused the flags?

Which well? How about a link?
They are not on the well pages. Click on an operator and scroll to the bottom of their page. If that operator has any they will be listed there.
Thanks, BirdDawg.

For instance, http://sonlite.dnr.state.la.us/sundown/cart_prod/cart_con_orgad?p_o...

I see what you mean, M.B. The info on that page is pretty useless without further details or links. Is "FINE-CIVIL PENALTY HAS BEEN ISSUED" $100 for not filling in a form correctly, or a million dollar fine for dumping toxic waste into Cross Lake?

I notice for Chesapeake, that most of the violations are pretty old, and that there aren't many in the 10 year time period.
BirdDawg and Mac Davis,

Thanks, I guess I'm not looking in the right places, or need SONRIS for dummies. I don't see the operator link/icon/button.

Mac Davis, You hit the nail on the head. That specific info. is want I'm trying to find. Here's the link:

http://sonlite.dnr.state.la.us/sundown/cart_prod/cart_con_orgad?p_o...

Thanks again.
details are available in sonris classic.

Dang, Baron. My eyes ain't that good. LOL! Or I need a bigger magnifying glass. Please post a path.
you will need to go to SONRIS classic, and do an inquiry into the operator in question under "Organizations (OR-1) Information"
there is more info than you can see in my screenshot, but sonris classis is not as user friendly, i had a hard time trying to cut and paste...
Geez, what a hideous interface on sonris.

Go here:

sonris-xxx.dnr.state.la.us/forms90/f90servlet?config=jpi&form=SRCN3010&query_only=yes

Or go to sonris.com, Minerals, Organizations (OR-1) Information
(You have to cut and paste the link and change xxx to www because of the bad interface on GHS.)

Look at q2f.pdf below.

Click the little icon that says "enter query" (right below record and field)
Enter "S351" into the organization ID field.
Click on the little icon that says "Execute query."

Click on warnings. You should see something like q3f.pdf below.

Like Baron, I couldn't get a good cut and paste either.

Did I mention that this is a horrible interface on sonris?

Mac, and all,

Thanks, I got it. Doesn't seem to work on Firefox, but using IE explorer it works.

You're right in that it is a bad interface.
Oops, yes, I noticed that it didn't work on Firefox, one of my pet peeves, but I bit my tongue and didn't mention it. Curse all people who set up Microshaft Internet Exploder only web pages.
