Can anyone tell me how to search for wells on the new SONRIS by using the section township range? I can't find that feature anywhere. It was easy before. Thanks

First of all I have been doing this on and off for 45 years so I knew where to look. As an engineer i found it extremely helpful to be able to access the data directly.  Programmers almost never eliminate code - they just hide it.

Go into your browser's history -I use Firefox  and selected 60 days.  I did a search for sonris and found a link that I had used. i.e.  for SRT - Here is a link to a specific SRT.

https://sonlite.dnr.state.la.us/ords/cart_prod/cart_con_sectwnrng2?...

I first put it in the browser to see if it was what I wanted, then I started to work back to the query.

It took a couple of tries but I just had to change sectwnrng2 to sectwrng1 and eliminate the rest. Did the same for the other queries.

I really don't use anything else or I would have added it.   I looks like the only difference in the various queries is the last word i.e Well by serial no = wellinfo1, Well by operator = wellorg1, etc.

If you have any questions let me know.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.  Did you happen to look for the Well Permits by Date?

I have never used that one.  I would try searching "cart_con_well" in your browser history (it is probably something like "wellperbydat"and seeing if you find anything.  I tried several permutations but none were correct.  If you find something, send it to me I and I will see what I can do.

I use Firefox as my primary browser but I do not see an option to go back 60 days in history.  When I click on History all I get are the recent ones.  Would that option be in settings?

Go to history. Then show all history. You should see on the left History and underneath several options Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days,

This month, September, August, July, June, May, Older than 6 months.  In search history put in "cart_con_well".  Look under Location for something like "cart_con_wellpermitbydate1" or some permutation of that.

Thanks.  You've covered the main two I need until we get a look at the completed renovation of SONRIS.
