I haven't, KC.  However they are listed as registered with the LA. Secretary of State.  Note the registration date.  Strata is a little over 6 months old.  That's something to consider but shouldn't rule them out as a viable land/lease acquisition company.

Is the subject property Strata is working North of Shreveport, but South of Arkansas line?

Yes according to the agent that spoke to me. He did not name the oil company that was doing all the leasing, but said that they had 42 section already. Any idea on which oil company it might be?

How long has Strata been making offers in N. Caddo?  If Strata Aquisitions has taken any leases in their name, they have not filed them with the Caddo Clerk of Court as of Jan. 13.  I suggest that you guys find someone who has signed a lease with them and see the actual lessee name on the lease.

Has anyone signed with this company yet?

anyone?

Coonman, STRATA ACQUISITIONS has not filed any leases in Caddo Parish to date.

Since I live near the address given in Baton Rouge, I searched it on a mapping program then checked it in the BR phone book. The address is the same as a mail drop office called The Mail Bag.

Enough said.  Thanks, SPL.

My brother and I were approached by this company and we had our attorney look over the lease contract they provided and he said it was horrible.  They only offered 22.5% royalty.  They didnt have to have active drilling to keep the lease and they didnt provide for restoring the land and thats just part of it.  I would be very careful dealing with them.  The man who talked to my brother told him we were the first land owners he approached yet when I had contact with him several weeks ago he told me he had leased over 4000 acres.  So we have a problem with truth it seems.  I dont trust them.

LOOKS LIKE STRATA IS MAKING ANOTHER ATTEMPT TO  GET BUSINESS IN NORTH CADDO AGAIN. I'VE RECEIVED A LEASE OFFER THAT WASN'T THAT BAD BUT EVERYone HAS SCARED ME OFF. HAS ANYONE HAD ANY CONTACT WITH THEM LATELY?

H P, see the new discussion I posted in the North Caddo group.
