Texas produced record volumes of oil, gas in July

Texas shattered three production records in July, pumping out 5.76 million barrels of oil per day, alongside 32.8 Bcf/d natural gas and 3.85 million barrels of natural gas liquids daily, according to the Texas Oil & Gas Association's latest monthly report. "These latest numbers further reinforce the industry's ongoing commitment to utilizing the latest technologies and innovations to produce abundant, affordable and reliable energy," said TXOGA President Todd Staples.

So much for federal energy regulations retarding the production of oil and gas.  It's past time to reject that old claim.
