We are Keith and Anna-Faith Mauck. We own and operate GoHaynesvilleShale.com (GHS). We are a community of landowners who share information about leasing, drilling and production.

With the pandemic’s affects on advertising, we are asking our community members to consider giving to keep this a place for networking, learning and promoting shale drilling. We want to ensure that we are able to continue operations through 2021

In the summer of 2008, we launched GHS to simply get answers to our own questions regarding leasing and drilling. My oldest was 2, she’s now 14! It was a pretty innocuous beginning, But when the website lit up with activity, I realized just how vital a service the website provided. It provided an edge that landowners did not previously have as land was leased and drilled by oil and gas companies. Over the years, landmen reported to me that they dare not begin their day without reading the latest chatter on our website. What we do is pretty powerful…yet simple!

We've been helping each other by sharing information and knowledge to assist each other in some very real and tangible ways. From single moms to retirees, thousands have been helped. They’ve gotten better leases for their minerals and have made better income. And it’s all a result of neighbors helping neighbors. And today, members continue to reap the benefits.

Thousands of landowners monthly continue to visit our community to glean and share information. My hope is that our network will continue to thrive and make a difference for landowners with mineral ownership. The Ark-La-Tex needs a place to discuss these important issues.

The sites have always been 99% funded by advertisers and we've worked hard to keep it that way. I want to keep the sites free and open for anyone who wants to join and participate, or join and simply read. This has been made possible through great advertisers and a loyal audience. However, with the pandemic, this has become very difficult. In 2020, we lost our main advertiser, an oil and gas event company, so we are reaching out to you. We've cut expenses, but there still remains fixed expenses.

We want to be sure that the network's fixed expenses will be covered for 2021 which will permit it to remain live. These expenses include software services and server expenses. Your donation will help us plan for a successful 2021.

And by the way, no donation is too small. Each donation is encouragement to keep plugging away.

Thank you for considering a donation!

Blessings,
Keith Mauck

I'm in! Just donated. I appreciate this site!

Thanks, Diana.  I'm going to bump this discussion to the top of the Main Page with an add on donation and the request that those who are able to support GHS with a donation please help get us to $2500.

Just in case this donation appeal may have been overlooked by some members who value the benefits that GHS provides, I am "bumping" the discussion to the top of the Main Page.  A happy and prosperous New Year to all who participate here at GHS.com.

I would like to express my personal appreciation to all those members who made a donation to GoHaynesvilleShale.com to support the website for 2021.  Thank you:

WAIT!!!  I thought I donated as HANG!  (who never thought ahead about what the initials to Hopeful About Natural Gas would spell).

Thanks Skip for all your great input into this site. Keith created the framework - but it would be pretty empty without your posts.

HANG

I remember that HANG.  Don't know why it didn't show up on the list.  Thank you again.
