Comstock Resources - Recent Haynesville Shale Completions - Part Two
Comstock Resources (CRK) released details of four recent completions on its Haynesville Shale properties. Three were located in the Logansport Field and one in the Toledo Bend North Field in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana.

Logansport Field

Colvin-Craner #2H - Drilled to a vertical depth of 11,353 feet and a 4,181 foot horizontal lateral. The well produced at an initial production rate of 21.2 million cubic feet equivalent per day.

Broome #1H - Drilled to a vertical depth of 11,368 feet and a 4,051 foot horizontal lateral. The well produced at an initial production rate of 16.7 million cubic feet equivalent per day.

Weyerhaeuser #2H - Drilled to a vertical depth of 11,493 feet and a 4,181 foot horizontal lateral. The well produced at an initial production rate of 16.2 million cubic feet equivalent per day.

Toledo Bend North Field

BSMC 7 #2H - - Drilled to a vertical depth of 11,174 feet and a 4,441 foot horizontal lateral. The well produced at an initial production rate of 11.6 million cubic feet equivalent per day.

Comstock Resources said that the Colvin-Craner #2H was its best well ever on its Haynesville Shale properties.
