John Price attorney at law office in Center, Texas is also the owner of Shelby County Title will run title search and verify with title opnion. If you are sellimg or buying minerals he can handle the deed transfer of title, This is primary for Shelby County Texas, but he can help you or find someone for you in other area if he does not have time to travel to county house in county of interest involving minerals in question. He did this for me in Shelby County and worth every dollar. Avg cost about $200/hour, but his clock runs slow and fair.
What city/parish are you selling in?
South Bossier parish
Don't listen to the post from Texas, different law. PLus they were solicting on the site without being a site sponser.
Two Dogs,Pirate----THIS WAS NOT SOLICTING I HAVE NO RELATIONSHIP WITH MR.PRICE OTHER THAN HE DID EXCELLENT JOB RUNING TITLE OPINION FOR ME. I SIMPLY ANSWERED PLACO QUESTION. DID NOT KNOW THAT IF A REC IS REFERRENCE THEY HAD TO BE "SITE SPONSER". PLEASE DO NOT INSULT PEOPLE WHO ATTEMPS TO HELP SOMEONE!!!!! YES HE IS IN TEXAS SHELBY COUNTY AMD NOT LA. DID NOT KNOW THIS SITE WAS FOR ONLY LA. I HAD NO IDEAL WHERE PLACO LIVES. I AGREE THE LAW ARE DIFFER IN TEXAS: THANK THE LORD FOR THAT!!!!!!!
It is always a good idea for those asking a question to give the location of their mineral interest. And lacking such, those who would care to answer should ask for that information prior to providing an answer. Failing to do so can create problems.
I appreciate both spirits displayed here.

Attorney references are funny things, but I usually let them go in the spirit of helpfulness. Many times the landowner finds themself in a dead end with no place to go, other than an attorney. Better to error in locating a good one, than wasting time and money trying to find one.

With that said, I know many lawyers have gotten referals from GHS but remain absent, with the exception of Eric Camp, in supporting the site. So when you speak to your attorney encourage them to support GHS.
I know several people who I use for title work. I dont know the rules you guys have on this site about giving out names and companies etc... I guess you can email me if you'd like. I'll leave my email on your profile.
