Total Sa and Chesapeake's upcoming Ohio Utica Shale "Marriage" (?)

Bloomberg report seems to thinks so:  "Total Said to Weight Buying Chesapeake's $2.14 Billion Ohio Stake" 12/7/2011

http://www.businessweek.com/news/2011-12-07/total-said-to-weigh-buy...#

Will the winner please repeat after me "I Shale Take Thee, Chesapeake..."  LOL

"Sister Wives," has nothin' on Chesapeake!  LOL

How many Shale "wives" will that make for Mr. Chesapeake?

Just joking folks...  At least he's marrying for money.

Couldn't pass this one up.  TGIW.  Who knows who Mr. Chesapeake will "propose" to on Thursday, Friday, Saturday....

Someone tell me I am not reading this:

"Gateway Energy & Resource Holdings, LLC" is CHK's "Mystery" JV "International Energy Company" Utica Partner???

http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/gateway-energy--resource-h...

A Financial Company!!!  Give me a break.

No wonder CHK didn't want to tell...  I'd a kept that one to myself too!  (Just my opine alone...)  Where is the "International ENERGY Company" part?

Chesapeake must think WE are all Fools.

Check your link, Doc.

CHK does sooooooo many "financing" deals...I get quite confused as to who is zoomin' who.

I need a vacation!

Thanks.

Have had e-mails in last few minutes that say Total and Statoil are the JV Utica Partners yet to be announced later.  But, those are still rumors, as much as I can tell.

Gateway E& R Holdings with EIG are additional funding sources per CHK Utica activities.

Keeping fingers crossed.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
