Does anybody know what is going on with the TUTT SURVEY in Shelbyville (Shelby County),TX? Have received a royalties check. I have hired an Oil and Gas Lawyer from Lufkin to over see this.

Thanks, Martin Lazarine

What is causing you concern Martin?

I wanted to know if there were any well stimulation methods or enhanced oil recovery "EOR" techniques going on in regarding to the Tutt Survey. For example: hydraulic fracturing  "fracking", acidizing, water flooding, carbon dioxide flooding. Also, has there been any wireline well logging trucks out there. I have not been up there since Thanksgiving 2010.

Thanks for your reply,

Martin Lazarine

To my knowledge, there have not been any water or CO2 flood type operations implemented in that survey (I think you are talking about Clement Tutt, A-726.  If you are referring to another Tutt survey, please advise).

It is safe to assume that, if a shale well has been drilled and completed... it has been fracked.  If you want information on a specific well I will be happy to look at it for you if you can provide a lease name or well API #.

Maybe someone else (with boots on the ground in that area) can further address your question.
